So you want to come on down to the GSX/Life as Rx 2010 Texas Throwdown? Awesome, we can’t wait to have you as our guest. Regardless of if you are an individual competitor, affiliate team competitor, volunteer, or spectator, there are a couple things that you need to know about the pricing and registration process.

Two things up front- spectators are going to have to get their event ticket at the door for $20  and no competitor registration fees are refundable outside of a death.

So first things first, spectators: Thank you so much for your interest in coming out to support your friends and family that are competing and also the entire CrossFit community and movement. Unlike most of the big CrossFit competitons, we aren’t charging a fee or creating a registration process for spectators. Just a $20 charge to get in the door at the Dallas Convention Center for the 2010 Europa Super Show Sports Expo. That $20 gets you a ton of bang for your buck: on top of GSX’s Texas Throwdown CrossFit and TKD competitions, there are the following events to check out: a Powerlifting Championship, American Strongman Championship, Hot “Fit” Mom Contest, rock climbing walls, car shows, Arm Wrestling Competition, Martial Arts tournaments and expos, Grappling tournament, and MMA events.

Up next, Judges: Thank you so much for your interest in helping, but we have no need for just “volunteers” for this event. If you want to be a part of this, in a volunteer capacity, you can help as  a judge. Judges will have to pull some light volunteer duties, like situating gear and equipment between events, but because this event is at the Dallas Convention Center there is no “bitch work” like parking detail and garbage pickup. I know that it’s a lot to ask to judge and pull some volunteer duties, but we are going to compensate you with a kickass Judge’s Gift Bags valued at about $150. Finally, competitors: So you think you’re a badass? Awesome, we’re going to give you one hell of a chance to prove it. Whether you’re looking to compete as an individual or part of an affiliate team, there’s some killer events brewing. The top 3 male and female individuals and top 3 affiliate teams are going to get some epic prize bags and cash winnings. Registration will include the cost of your 2010 Europa Super Show Sports Expo entrance fee. Competitors must register online. $50 for an individual competitor and $150 for an affiliate team. The team consists of a minimum of 4 individuals and a maximum of 6 and must contain one female competitor.
